Here at Rat Rods, the only rule is: There are no rules. This 1937 Ford F100 is probably going to be a love-it/hate-it kind of ride for a lot of you. It can be found here on eBay with an asking price of $21,500 and it looks fast standing still. Located in Pompano Beach, Florida, the big wheels and tires will turn some of you off but check out the rest of this ride and save your judgment for the end.
The interior is really simple with mostly black coverings to match the exterior. There are a few billet pieces to accent the black, but it isn’t overdone.
The engine is a 350 cubic inch Chevrolet V8 along with a 3-speed automatic transmission. Like the interior, the engine is black with raw aluminum highlights. The scoop and valve covers look great and the open headers are probably really loud, which is awesome.
The rear end is a Chevrolet 10-bolt that is supported by massive airbags. The rest of the bed is filled up with the air tank, suspension, battery, and gas tank.
The wheels are 26 inches and although they are far from traditional, they seem to fit this truck. The silver spokes tie in the engine, interior, and bed theme colors and don’t look out of place. If the big wheels aren’t your taste, you could easily put a set of more “traditional” wheels and tires. If this was your ride, what would you do?
